Mr Narvekar is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and a Specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Minimal Access Surgery. Mr Narvekar specialises in ovarian stimulation, assisted conception, in-vitro fertilisation (IVF), preservation of fertility prior to cancer treatment and ultrasound scans. He is an expert in advanced keyhole surgery having performed over 500 complex operations for the treatment of fertility problems, polycystic ovaries, miscarriage, endometriosis, fibroids, uterine anomalies, heavy menstrual bleeding and pelvic pain. Mr Narvekar graduated (MBBS) from Goa University, India in 1990 and trained as Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. Between 1999 and 2008 he undertook a research fellowship in reproductive medicine at the University of Edinburgh followed by a sub-specialty fellowship in reproductive medicine and minimal access surgery at University College London Hospitals . Mr Narvekar was awarded an MD and a Certificate of Completion of Training in Reproductive Medicine and accreditation in advanced Minimal Access Surgery in 2008. He conducts research trials and is widely published in the field of reproductive medicine and minimal access surgery. He is involved in the training, examination and academic supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students and specialists.
