Dr Nicola Mulholland is a Consultant Clinical Radiologist and Nuclear Medicine Physician specialising in radionuclide radiotherapy, functional imaging with PETCT& WBMRI, cross sectional radiology and cancer. She received her medical degree from the University of London in 1995 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 1999.
She also became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2004. She completed dual training in clinical radiology and nuclear medicine and was registered by the General Medical Council as a specialist in March and December of 2007.
Dr Mulholland offers molecular radiotherapy including radioiodine therapy for thyroid disease, PRRT for NET (Lutathera) RLT for prostate cancer ( Pluvicto) and selective internal radioembolisation therapy for liver cancer.
She has a high level of expertise in hybrid imaging, including PET-CT and SPECT-CT as well as expertise in MRI, cardiac CT angiography and haemato-oncology. Dr Mulholland is the Clinical Director of Cancer and head of nuclear medicine and PETCT dept at Kings College Hospital.
She is Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London. She has research interests in the use of imaging biomarkers in haemato-oncology and novel molecular radiotherapy techniques.
