Dr Sadia Bhatti is a Consultant Obstetrician at King’s College Hospital where she is the lead consultant for maternity critical care, postnatal care and complex older age group pregnancies. She also provides specialist maternal services for patients with rheumatology and inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr Bhatti has a vision to establish safer childbirth for high risk pregnancies and looks for ways to improve the women’s experience of childbirth.
Dr Bhatti trained at King’s College and University College London Hospitals which included training in high risk pregnancies and the management of antenatal, intrapartum and post-partum care. She has an active interest in postgraduate training. She has been a course director for the MRCOG part 1 course and is a faculty member for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology operative birth simulation. She also travels to Africa and Asia to deliver lifesaving courses to mothers as a faculty member of Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine
