Women’s health
We provide a wide range of services for women and many of our specialties have female doctors should you prefer to be treated by someone of the same sex. If a female doctor is not available we can provide a female chaperone during any examinations.
Assisted conception
Our Hewitt Fertility Centre provides the latest treatments backed by all the resources of a major hospital with a worldwide reputation for excellence.
We provide a comprehensive range of investigations and treatment for infertility including:

Our success rates
We are proud of our live birth and clinical pregnancy rates following in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) and intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), which exceed the national averages. We maintain our success rates and high quality of care with a system that includes continual auditing and review of our protocols for safety and effectiveness.
Gynaecology
We diagnose and treat:
- long-standing non-urgent
- gynaecological conditions, such as menstrual problems and pelvic pain
- ovarian cysts
- suspected ovarian or endometrial cancers
We also treat:
- hormonal disorders, including amenorrhoea, hypogondaism and polycystic ovary syndrome
- menopause problems, including early menopause
- osteoporosis
Obstetrics and maternity services
We know that having a baby is one of the most emotional and exciting moment of your life and we are delighted that you have decided to have your baby at King’s. We are one of London’s leading maternity hospitals and care for more than 6,000 mothers and babies each year. We provide all aspects of obstetric and midwifery care, from before conception and before birth (antenatal) to birth and after delivery (postnatal).
If you are considering giving birth by caesarean section privately you will be staying on the Dulwich Suite in our maternity unit where our expert team of midwives and doctors give you the care and support you need to have a safe and satisfying birth. We offer a personalised service within an environment that has an outstanding clinical safety record.
We offer consultant delivered antenatal care as a separate package.
When you decide to give birth privately by caesarean section you can choose from one of our highly experienced obstetricians. The consultant team are experts in high risk pregnancies. The women who deliver privately at King’s have access to high quality specialist care in case of complications of pregnancy if required.
Please note that currently we can only accept patients who are entitled to NHS treatment.

Urogynaecology
We are at the forefront of research into all areas of urogynaecology, so our patients benefit from the latest surgical and drug treatments. We offer a wide range of investigations and carry out some surgery as a day case or outpatient procedure.
